The new Bond 25 cinema release is scheduled for April 3, 2020 in the UK. Daniel Craig will be James Bond again, but some new spectacular appearances will surprise you. We believe the news about titles and possible outcomes will be in the media until the official release.
What About the Title?
First of all, let’s make clear what the new title will be. Three titles are in the game so far; Shatterhand, Eclipse, and A Reason To Die. Each title has some meaning for Barbara Broccoli, the main producer of the film.
Shatterhand has a decent background as it is the working title of the film. The most successful James Bond film titles usually have only one word, meaning that Goldfinger, Thunderball, Skyfall, and Spectre should have a one-word successor.
However, Barbara Broccoli says that Shatterhand won’t be an official title, even though the film industry publication Production Weekly recognizes this title as the current one. However, it’s not the last one.
Another possible title for the new Bond’s adventure might be Eclipse. It is the word that is already used in one of the Twilight blockbusters, which is the reason why many people believe that Eclipse wouldn’t be the right choice.
The third version of a possible title is A Reason To Die. Can you believe this title was the official reason why the original director Danny Boyle left the production? Yes, it’s true. Boyle was against the plans of the production to kill James Bond at the end of the film, which was the reason for “creative differences” between the teams. It is rumored the title A Reason To Die was only a solution, but not the final decision.
We’ll see what the production will decide at the end.
Who Will Be the Actors?
Besides Daniel Craig, we have a cast full of interesting actors. The Bond girl from Spectre is back as she is rescued from Ernst Stavro Biofeld. Of course, the main character who saved her with Aston Martin DB5 was James Bond. The girl is Dr. Madeleine Swann, and the actress is irresistible Lea Seydoux.
Ralph Fiennes will be Gareth “M” Mallory, the steely head of MI6 and Bond’s main boss. His hard decisions and powerful mind will lead Bond through the film.
Rami Malek is another name you’ve probably heard about recently. Malek is the Oscar winner, and he joins the production in New York. He is casting as the Bond villain who makes the Bond’s life harder. As one of the biggest surprises, Malek will definitely bring some new excitement to the story.
Among other members of the cast, we have to mention Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, and extremely talented Billy Magnussen.
What to Expect?
At the beginning of the film, Bond is relaxing in Jamaica. It won’t last for long as Russian forces show the full power in the world of secret services. Bond is there to act against them.
According to other plot speculations, Bond gets retired and married to the longtime love, Swann. When she is killed in a brutal way, Bond goes for revenge, and the exciting action is on the screen.
Some additional stories bring other kinds of plots, but we can only build castles in the air. The real thing is reserved for April 3, 2020. That’s the time to see the real destiny of our James Bond.
